British infantry nco chevrons on greatcoats 1880s decade

I don't have information about the details of the infantry nco's chevrons worn on greatcoats during 1880s decade.

The only info i have is of 1865, Infantry Handbook, that regarding the chevrons stated:

- Yellow or blue worsted lace on regimental facing ground, for the 1st battalion.
- Red worsted (on regimental facing ground, I understand, but not stated), for the 2nd battalion.
- Scarlet or Lincoln Green worsted lace on black ground, for Rifles.
- Dark blue cloth on scarlet grounf for Foots Guards.

Also, if you have details of the design of these greatcoats I´ll apreciate a lot.
