Hi Guys,

It's the Independence Day Parade in Senegal in 2009. This is a reconstructed historical uniform of the Senegalese Tirallieurs, I think it is supposed to represent them during WW1 but am not entirely sure. I just thought it of interest that they would bother to make up so many uniforms just for a parade, although it would be a special one if they gained Independence in 1959.

They seem as interested in the Cuirassiers' uniform as the cuirassier is with theirs.
