Botched Choice For Afghan Army Uniforms Empty Botched Choice For Afghan Army Uniforms

This story [http://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2017/06/21/533810796/botched-choice-for-afghan-army-uniforms-c] is a couple of months old, but it shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone.
Just wondering if they had used a little common sense and changed their minds.
Also Previous SIGAR reports have pointed out other issues.
Nearly a half-billion dollars' worth of transport aircraft procured for the Afghans were found unfit for use and were scrapped for pennies on the pound.
Some buildings were built with concrete that dissolved in rain, walls and roofs that could collapse sand with unsafe wiring and inadequate plumbing.
A hospital in Afghanistan paid for by the U.S. is poorly built and years late.  It also could be too expensive to run for Afghan government.
