Not to be confused with the children's TV show found on youtube.
The Wide Awakes was a paramilitary campaign organization affiliated with the Republican Party during the United States presidential election of 1860.
Another post for the Wide Awake Club is in the uniforms of North America section, strictly speaking they were more political than military so I've placed this post here.
