Some of the infantry had a full dress uniform. Most usually scarlet with blue facings.

This is The Royal Canadian Regiment, a Permanent Force regiment. Most Militia regiments did not have Full Dress, especially the rural corps. The RCR wear a Wolseley helmet with a red, 7-fold pugaree and regimental cap badge.
