From the auction sites. First a decoration ceremony in 1930 to a Marine for an action in Nicaragua. Note the officer's Mameluke style sword hilt, a reference to the "shores of Tripoli" and actions against the Barbary pirates early in the Corps' history.

The next two are from 1932, showing Marines aboard the battleship USS West Virginia.
