Legion of Frontiersmen
A civil organisation of adventurers from before the Great War. Based in the UK but squadrons in the colonies.

I think that they still exist in a very diminished form. If you check their New Zealand website, a number of recent group photographs of elderly gentlemen in quaint uniforms (including the chain mail epaulettes) come up. Still we all have our eccentric hobbies.
