Standing Rules & Regulations of the Corps of St Helena Volunteer Sharpshooters

Dress
27. The Uniform shall consist of -
A soft Felt Hat
A Khaki Jacket
Khaki Trousers
These will be provided by the Corps free of cost.
Members can provide their own Boots or purchase them through the Corps if desired.
Good shooting badges shall consist of crossed rifles, in silver, for best marksman, and in worsted for other marksmen, and will be worn on the left fore arm.
Officers and Non-commissioned Officers to have a distinguishing badge on the Hat.
28. Each enrolled member must be provided with Uniform of the approved pattern; Honorary members may wear the Uniform if they wish.
