Although headdress isn’t mentioned in the Dress Regulations for Officers of the Army, if headdress is mentioned in the units dress regulations then I would say yes.
For example, the regulations [modern] for the Royal Regiment of Scotland has the Glengarry with cap badge to be worn with mess dress.
