Re: Nepalese WW2.
Found this photo of Royal Nepalese army training in India, undated photo.
It looks like they have replaced the kd uniform and leather equipment for the Indian jungle green. Not too sure if 1908 /WW1 or 1937 equipment used or helmets issued.
This is the only photo ive seen of WW2 RNA troops, nothing in the IWM photo collection.
Any other WW2 RNA photos ?

Re: Nepalese WW2.
The gallery has lots of interesting photos including a close up of the leather ammo pouches worn WW1 - 1930s possibly late 40s.
Good photos of the kd WW1 -1930s uniform, tunic, shorts, puttees, slouch hat and leather kit.

Re: Nepalese WW2.
There isn't much detail to find regarding Nepalese army for the world wars, I believe mainly because they were absorbed into the Indian army as Gurkha regiments.
A couple of links that may be of interests to anyone who hasn't already found them.
First off a video claiming to be of the Indian and Gurkha's during WWI.
There are images that could be Gurkha's but equally they could be, and I believe them to be, Indian regiments. So are they Indian or Gurkha?
It's not so much the lack of Gurkha representation in the video but the replies about the video that's interesting.

Second is a page on Gurkhas in the First World War.

Third, Nepali Times - Lest we Forget.
Have way down the page is an image of a kit inspection of the Kit inspection of the Gurhka Rifles in France during World War 1.B
Below is a picture of what appears to be the same kit inspection in the link below taken moments later.
Again nothing new but reading the comments may be an eye opener.
