Imperial Japanese Uniform

Hello everyone

I found several images of Japanese notables in photographs taken from an album of members of the Japanese peerage wearing a certain uniform, so I was wondering if it was civil or military (probably navy?)

Only a guess but they may be Counts, the backing colour of cuffs and collar varied depending on status, hard to say with B/W photos.

There are some other unknown (at least for me) japanese uniform on Wikipedia. These are probably not military, but it differs from japanese court officers uniforms and from court uniforms for government officers...
