Cameronian's (Scotish Rifles)
Sean
There may be a small clue on the fist page to a little discord between the battalions after their amalgamation, maybe each battalion trying to hold onto their individuality.
The first battalion, formerly the 26th Cameronian Regiment called themselves the Cameronian's.
The 2nd Battalion, formerly the 90th (Perthshire Volunteers) Light Infantry Regiment called themselves the Rifles.
I'm not sure how long this continued for but maybe by 1929 both battalions were calling themselves Cameronian's.
Also, I wonder how many Scottish officers ordered their uniforms from Savile Row compared to Edinburgh.
