Sorry, no higher resolution available. What I would really like to see is Larousse's source for these illustrations. I think the dark green on some of the figures is a mismatch and should be dark blue.

Re the Larousse plate (one of a detailed set in that edition of the famous French encyclopedia covering all European states of the period c1895). The two mounted figures in the bottom row are correctly shown in green - this was a distinction of the Greek cavalry in all orders of dress from the 1830s until 1910 (when a khaki service uniform was introduced) as opposed to the dark blue of all other branches except the white clad evzones. A color print from a Hellenic Armed Forces series below shows a cavalry officer in M1880 full dress. The bright shade of green shown is a little puzzling since an actual uniform (not the one in the photo also attached) on display in the Greek Army museum in Athens is green of a slightly grayish tinge. Perhaps it faded.

A slight adjustment with GIMP Image Editor (like Photoshop) fixes this. Notice the cavalry still appears green while everyone else has gone to blue.

You could try copy and paste as new layer, then play with it until happy happy with the result.
If you cock-up the original is left alone, this is ideal if you forget that you have a limited undo.
