Collar Bages Service Units

I believe some sevice units formed during the war adopted distinctive collar and shoulder titles, all of which were disbanded except the Tank Corps becoming the Royal Tank Corps October 1923.
One would have been the 24th [Oldham] battalion of the Manchester Regt. having; Oldham above Manchester with the number 24 between.
