The well-known Vinkhuijzen collection of the New York Public Library.
My guess was that Dr Vinkhuijzen was collecting up to about 1900 rather than 1910.

Vinkhuijzen
He wasn’t a guy to leave unattended by any of your books, not all apparently were taken with the owner’s permission.
Some have said that his ransacking pages from volumes saved them from destruction during the world wars.
Is that a valued argument for what he did? Myself, I think not, who’s to say if they would have been destroyed, as it was the owners would have thought them destroyed anyway.
Many of the illustrations I read were just bundled into folder with little care taken towards them and a major headache for the curator to sort them out, if that's correct then maybe it was just luck that they survived at all.
Vinkhuijzen - Hero or Villain, good idea for a survey!
