Is the website okay?

Is the website working, or does it need to change?
Looking for some feedback on whether I should concentrate on gardening.

Or, it could be a case of summer time and wives keeping us busy in the garden, helping with the shopping, fixing things long put off and carrying suit cases full of books which we never have time to read, to and from destinations supposedly for the intention of relaxing us, by putting our blood pressure waiting in vain for cancelations to arrive!!!!!
Am I the only one who seems to be more active on holiday than when at work?

I think the website is a very good thing Sean. Of course the subject is a fairly rarified one and you will never get thousands of contributors flooding it. However steady growth to 147 registered users and 2,090 postings over little more than two years is a tribute to your original planning and ongoing enthusiasm. Of course it is a pity when new members start with promise and then drift off somewhere else but that is the Internet for you.

Enjoy your summer holidays while they last WF. Down here it is still winter and now we have earthquakes to add to our misery!

The main page of the forum, with the geographical categories, lists in the last (right hand) column the most recent poster. It would be nice if along with the poster one could see the poster's subject line. Without that, looking at the main page tells who's been posting, but not about what.

a minor problem i encounter when i see a really good photo i would like to print off. When i go onto print preview only the text shows ,

all the photos and illustrations vanish. Can you resolve this (unless its a problem my end) ?

Forgive me if I'm asking the obvious but...
If the photo's are large enough for you to see, good quality, have you tried saving them to your hard drive first?  
Another method could be for you to use a snipping tool to capture the photo from your monitor screen.
Then if need be you could print them directly from you computer as and when required.
This won't solve your problem but it may help for now.

Yes Sean, the website is excellent. Much new info is coming out and one can only admire the tenacity of those members that track these things down (yourself included). I get withdrawal symptoms if I don't look at the site at least once a month
