Cajamarca is a provincial town in the northern highlands of Peru. This nice book on local historical photography yields the following military (or near military) subjects.

Below: A pair of living tableaux. This one is an enactment of the national coat of arms.

This tableau is dated two years from the first, but the same policemen are in both pictures, dressed the same, and looking much like the photos could have been taken on the same day.

Anyone recognize any of these policemen on the job as the same men as above? The bandits' captured weaponry on display includes some crappy pistols and a knife blade fixed to the end of a stick.
