35th New York Regiment
Purported to be the 35Regt NYSM(?) from between the Wars.
Can anyone help with more information about the unit and its interesting uniform?

Re: 35th New York Regiment
Looks like an experimental uniform that was proposed right after WWI but was never adopted. It definitely shows some French influence. The Army had considered a uniform with a tunic with pleated patch pockets and French-style collar patches, a cap band in the arm of service color, and straight trousers for dismounted other ranks, but that also never made it past the trial stage.

I'd love to know more about the uniform if you've got anything else, other pictures perhaps?
