Strange looking headgear, presumaby under the tree? is a spike top picklehuabe style helmet.
Anyone know if these guys are a military unit or National Police?
Best Regards,
Les

Yes, you are correct about the helmet. As for their branch I would venture to say they are members of the Bolivian National Police.

Khaki and green, most likely police as Chris says.
Brilliant picture, such an unusual uniform.

Police on Parade 2007
Hi Guys,
Here is another good clear photo from Flickr.
Bolivia National Police on Parade 2007, of note is the rank insignia ,usually worn on the collar or eppaulet, is now worn on the cuff.
