I assume the kd shirt,shorts and 1908 webbing were worn in 1941, but what about headgear worn in the field/battle? Helmet , Gurkha style sloush hat or Malay peakless round hat ? Paul.

Kilmarnock cap seems to have been a general duty item as well as parade. The felt hat with KD puggaree was the field headdress and general duty item as well. The steel helmet was worn during the conflict.
