Long Island (NY) State Parkway Police

Here are some pictures of the Long Island State Parkway Police from before the agency was merged with the New York State Police and New York State Park Police in 1980, the agency was created in the late 1940s by Robert Moses (who headed the LI State Parks & Parkways Commission and pretty much created modern Long Island). It's officers patrolled both the parks and parkways that were run by the LI State Parks & Parkways.
