Question regarding LDV/Home Guard uniforms...
Greetings. I'll start off by saying that I'm greatly interested in uniforms and love this site. I'm willing to help in anyway I can.
That said, I like to color old photographs and have a question regarding the uniforms of Local Defence Volunteers of the Second World War. I'm curious if my colors are correct, and I get the feeling they aren't. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could help. Thanks!

Excellent
Hi PG,
Welcome to the site.
The colouring is very good.
The only modification I would make is that the armband wasn't yellow, more beige or khaki drill.
Hope to see many more pictures like this

Re: Question regarding LDV/Home Guard uniforms...
Thank you for the quick reply and information.
It's tough to find good quality photos that show the whole uniform. I'm usually limited to doing portraits of officers and such. Anyway, I'll post a complete and fixed photo soon. Thanks again.
God bless.
