British Army WWI
Loyal North Lancashire Regiment.
The photograph of the officer is titled; 3rd Loyal North Lancashire Regiment Officers--1906
As far as I know, and it ain't much so I may be wrong.
The 3rd (reserve) Battalion was formed in August 1914 at Preston as a depot and training battalion. Moving to Felixstowe where it remained as part of the Harwich Garrison.
Judging from the badges in the photograph below, the officers appear to be from more than one battalion. I suppose would make sense for a depot or training battalion to have officers with different skill sets.

Dramatic Society Neville 1917
I've changed this title of the post so that any odds and sods regarding the British/Commonwealth Forces during WW1 could be shoved in here.
This is a post card of the Neville Dramatic Society dated June 1917.
On the reverse of the card are the names and units of the individuals shown on the front, it shows that they were drawn from a mix of units both British and Commonwealth.
I wonder if any of them went on to be well known actors, or survived for that matter.

Those are Americans, going by the stand collars, pocket flaps, pantaloon breeches, and leggings.

They are, I’m making too many dumb mistakes of late.
Never the sharpest tool in the box, but well on the way to becoming the bluntest. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
I’ve replaced it with a British image, deleted this one, and it's already in the American post on page one.
