After going over to Linux I've been trying to get the hang of Gimp by doing a couple of backgrounds.
Obviously too much time on my hands.

Army Catering Corps, pre 1993 Royal Logistic Corps

I can safely say that I have never come across a member of this organisation.  
I had thought that the Army Scripture Readers were a thing of the past but apparently they are still hanging in there.

They are subject to Chaplain's recommendation and Commanding Officers' permission to visit soldiers and airmen in their accommodation, work and recreation areas. This is done with a view to befriending them and introducing them to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Maybe we were past the point of no return, marked down as a lost cause.

The 9th/12th Royal Lancers (Prince of Wales's)

Formed on 11th September 1960 by the amalgamation of the 9th Queen's Royal Lancers and the 12th Royal Lancers (Prince of Wales's)

On the 2nd May 2015 when the regiment was amalgamated with the Queen's Royal Lancers to form; The Royal Lancers (Queen Elizabeth’s Own).

1st Kings Dragoon Guards amalgamated with The Queen's Bays (2nd Dragoon Guards) in 1959 to form the 1st The Queens Dragoon Guards

1921 Queen's Bays (2nd Dragoon Guards)

1st The Queen's Dragoon Guards was formed by the amalgamation of the 1st King's Dragoon Guards and The Queen's Bays in 1959.

1921, The Royal Scots Greys (2nd Dragoons)

In 1922 the 3rd Dragoon Guards (Prince of Wales's) amalgamated with The Carabiniers (6th Dragoon Guards) to form the 3rd/6th Dragoon Guards.
Title changed in1928 to 3rd Carabiniers (Prince of Wales's Dragoon Guards).
Used facing colour (Yellow) for background.

The Carabiniers (6th Dragoon Guards) 1920.
Backing, the regiments facing colour was white, uniform tunics were blue instead of red like the other Dragoon Guards.
Belt colour, not sure, so I've used blue for the backing.

Formed as the 3rd/6th Dragoon Guards in 1922 by the amalgamation of the 3rd Dragoon Guards (Princess of Wales's) and The Carabiniers (6th Dragoon Guards).
1922 the 3rd/6th Dragoons.
1928 the 3rd Carabiniers (6th Dragoon Guards).

The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards.
Formed in 1971 by the amalgamation of the 3rd Carabiniers (Prince of Wales's Dragoon Guards) with the Royal Scots Greys (2nd Dragoons).

1788 4th (Royal Irish) Dragoons, 1921 4th Royal Irish Dragoon Guards.
!922 amalgamated with the 7th Dragoon Guards (Princess Royal's) to form the 4th/7th Dragoon Guards.
