Indian cavalry, World War II
Again, from Pielkalkiewicz Pferd und Reiter im II. Weltkrieg. I have my doubts, but the text reads:
Left top: Imphal, April 1942: the Indian mounted mountain troops.
Left below: Troopers of the the Indian 1st Punjab Regiment with their saddles.
Above: Imphal, April 1942: Cross-country exercises of mounted Indian mountain troops.
Right: The Indian Naik Farman of Rawalpindi with his noble purebred.

Re: Indian cavalry, World War II
I have seen the photographs elsewhere, and they are described as Indian Army Service Corps in France 1940.
It seems more likely.
