The Canadian Army, Royal Canadian Navy, and Royal Canadian Air Force are BACK!!!!!!!!!!

It's official. The traditional branch names for the Canadian Forces are back as of today. This is a great step towards repairing the gigantic clusterbeep called "Canadian Forces"

Not surprising though being that the monarchy has been riding a wave of popularity as of late due to Prince William and Kate Middleton. In all 16 Commonwealth realms there is now a clear majority in favor of retaining the monarchy after Queen Elizabeth II's reign ends as opposed to becoming republics.

They may still be some rumbling in the republican rank's..
Many civilians who don't want the 'Royal' word anywhere, simple have no thought of regimental pride and tradition.
Saying that, if Charles becomes King and she who should never be mentioned becomes Queen, pass out the red flags!!!!!
Next step for the UK will be a self defence force using rowing boats, tricycles and kites..

IMO the monarchy is safe for at least another generation in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. The Caribbean realms at least until the coronation of the next monarch (Prince Charles) - Jamaica is said to be moving towards implementing plans to become a republic upon the death/abdication of Queen Elizabeth II however the proposal has met with alot of opposition and it will probably be scrapped. As expected there is no word on exactly what kind of republic and just the usual vague "a republic" that the republicans always talk about in Commonwealth realms.
