RMLI and RM artillery, white helmet

Does anyone know for certain whn the RMLI and RMA transitioned from the Home Service Helmet to the white topee? Sometime prior to WW1.

Dates I have are;
For home service the blue helmet changed to the white tropical helmet around 1902,
The Wolseley 1912.

Charles C. Stadden's "Uniforms of the Royal Marines" states:

"In 1905 the blue cloth helmet was replaced by a white helmet of similar pattern for wear both at home and overseas. The larger white Wolseley pattern tropical helmet with ball fitting was introduced in 1912 and has been worn by the Royal Marines on ceremonial occasions since".

The slight discrepancy between Stadden and WF's source is probably accounted for by the inevitable time-lag between a new item of uniform being authorised and its actual issue, after old stocks had been used up.
