I believe there was also a rank of Field Marshal (Chain Kai Shek's personal rank) that was the same as the generals but with 4 pyramid objects. I could be wrong though Embarassed

Also, would you happen to have the 1928 - 37 ROC Navy rank insignia?

The info I have doesn't show any higher rank than General for army and Air Force, Admiral for Navy.
The few pics of Chiang Kai-shek that I've seen, don't show any clear detail of his rank, so I just don't know.
Navy and Air Force can do, but there again some images differ depending where you look.

This is a basic rank chart for the Rep Chinese Army from the 1930's and 40's.
I far as I know, NCOs tended to have written rank in the air force.
Also the rank bars are not to scale.
