Like the clarity and period look of this photo.

It shows the winning Pistol Team competing for the 'Connaught Cup' in Cairo, Egypt, 1929

The winners were the 12th Lancers. The men with the revolvers are the actual Pistol Team with the Regimental Commander seated centre with Adjutant on the right (with light coloured shirt) and the Pistol Team Leader seated to the left.

Nice array of insignias on display and ,of course, the 'Connaught Cup' sitting right in front, a great addition to the regimental silver.

Best Regards,
Les

Nice clear photograph, I would not want to be standing on the end, just in case a finger squeezed!
Reminds me of being on the ranges and looking up at an SLR barrel as the idiot tried to clear a blockage, or else he was going to make it look like an accident!
Notice also it would be the troopers who would get the bullet.
Regards
