Spanish Army in Cuba: Jose Bueno

The Spanish website MINIATURAS MILITARES POR ALFONS CÀNOVAS provides a very large stock of coloured uniform plates on a wide range of topics, with new additions on a daily basis. The latest posting includes about 16 pages from one of Jose Bueno's books that I had not come across before: the Spanish army in Cuba 1895-98. Many figures in raydillo - the unusual Spanish hot-weather dress consisting of multiple blue stripes on a white backing, worn until 1914. Highly recommended to anyone interested in the Spanish-American War or the colonial struggle that preceded it.
