Here’s a basic rank chart for the Rep of China’s Navy, its intended as a rough guide to the rank structure 1930s to 1940’s.
The Chinese Navy wasn’t large to start with, it could be said that after 1937 it ceased to exist as a force.
I’m unable to find any photo’s that show the uniform in any great detail, so please forgive any mistakes.

The uniforms of the Navy of China were fairly British in style. Although the Officers had an unusual jacket.
