Kingdom of Hawaii - Honolulu Rifles Empty Kingdom of Hawaii - Honolulu Rifles

Here are some pictures of the Honolulu Rifles, a sort of militia unit made up mainly of American sugarcane plantation owners and their employees. It was the Honolulu Rifles that overthrew the Hawaiian monarchy in 1893 and set the stage for Hawaii becoming part of the United States in 1898.
